Please Welcome Greg Pinson!

We at iFLY Downunder are excited to introduce you to our newest All Abilities Ambassador, Greg Pinson!

Greg first flew with us on January 20th 2022, at one of our All Abilities events, and is now an avid tunnel enthusiast!

Greg was diagnosed with Spina Bifida at birth, but it didn’t slow him down. He played soccer and cricket until his early twenties, when he began to lose muscle tone in his legs. After using various orthotics and walking aides, he transitioned to a wheelchair in December 2020.

Soon after hearing about iFLY and passing by a number of times, he decided it was time to give it a go!

“I wanted to prove to myself that I could still have fun and do all kinds of activities despite being in a wheelchair.” said Greg.

Just like us, after experiencing the “exhilaration and freedom” of flying, he was hooked!

“As soon as I entered the building the atmosphere was both professional and fun. All the staff were friendly, very helpful, and considerate of my and other’s needs.” said Greg.

Seeing the exhilaration and freedom that indoor skydiving gives Greg, and all our flyers, is why we are so passionate about making iFLY as accessible and inclusive to as many people as possible.

We host our All Abilities events every few months, and are always eager to see new and familiar faces. These events are dedicated sessions for those in the disability community and are custom designed to create an environment of support and inclusion.
